PT Alfa Polimer Indonesia
Overview
This project aims to integrate renewable energy sources into automotive industry operations while strengthening the company’s commitment to environmentally friendly manufacturing practices. With a capacity of 535.8 kWp, the solar PV system is expected to significantly reduce carbon emissions and decrease long-term dependence on fossil energy. Through collaboration with HIJAU, Pako not only improves energy efficiency but also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the area of clean energy.
Challenges
Project progress experienced slight delays due to unfavorable weather conditions, such as heavy rainfall and unpredictable weather, which limited the solar panel installation process. The HIJAU team continued to prioritize work safety by flexibly adjusting the implementation schedule.
Our Solution
To address these challenges, HIJAU adjusted the work schedule using a flexible approach based on daily weather forecasts. In addition, temporary drainage systems were reinforced, protective coverings were provided for work areas, and indoor tasks were optimized during extreme weather conditions. Coordination among teams was also enhanced to ensure safety and continuous project progress.
Result
By overcoming weather-related challenges through innovative solutions, the HIJAU project delivered significant positive impacts, including improved safety and work quality, a strong project reputation, better operational efficiency, and enhanced project sustainability and resilience.
