Lippo Mall Kramat Jati

HIJAU collaborated with Lippo Group to install a 458.3 kWp solar PV system at Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. This marks the second project following HIJAU’s previous solar PV installation at Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati. The collaboration aims to support Lippo Group’s transition to more cost-efficient and environmentally friendly renewable energy.

Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati is one of the shopping centers in East Jakarta. As a retail mall, Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati requires a large and stable electricity supply. Based on an assessment of electricity demand conducted by the HIJAU team, a 458.3 kWp solar PV system was installed and completed in May 2025.

The solar PV installation was carried out during the rainy season, which posed its own challenges as the work required favorable weather conditions. However, HIJAU remained committed to completing the project on time while maintaining high safety standards and delivering the best quality.

HIJAU’s expert team conducted inspections and calculations to ensure the solar PV system could meet the electricity needs of Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati and replace fossil fuel–based electricity with environmentally friendly renewable energy.

The collaboration between HIJAU and Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati for the solar PV installation resulted in a capacity of 458.3 kWp. This installation successfully reduced carbon emissions by 12,826 tons, equivalent to planting 20,522 trees. Lippo Group once again reinforces its commitment to transitioning to environmentally friendly renewable energy. This initiative also helps Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati improve cost efficiency and optimize electricity usage in a mall building where energy demand tends to fluctuate.
