Project Overview
In this project, HIJAU is installing a 775 kWp rooftop solar PV system in Majalengka. As a garment or textile factory, the production and operational processes require significant electricity. However, with a vision to reduce environmental impact and carbon emissions, PT Wintai has chosen to transition to rooftop solar PV. This project is expected to be completed in 2025.
Challenges Faced
During the rooftop solar PV installation, the HIJAU team faced challenges as the installation took place during the rainy season, which requires favorable weather conditions. However, we maximized efforts to ensure timely installation, maintained high safety standards, and ensured the solar PV system functions effectively by enhancing collaboration between HIJAU, technicians, and the factory.
Solutions From HIJAU
Once this project is completed, HIJAU will have successfully helped the company reduce operational costs by transitioning to the more affordable rooftop solar PV system. This enables the company to lower production expenses, utilize environmentally friendly energy, and minimize its environmental impact.
