Project Overview
The rooftop solar PV system, with a capacity of 1590 kWp, is currently being installed on the factory roof of PT Setia Kawan Makmur Sejahtera, covering an area of approximately 1.5 hectares with 3,400 solar panels. The installation is expected to be completed in 2025. Once operational, the system will replace 5-10% of the electricity typically generated from fossil fuels with renewable and environmentally friendly energy.
Challenges Faced
In this project, HIJAU faced challenges such as the need for roof repairs before installing the rooftop solar PV system. Therefore, effective collaboration and communication between PT SKMS, technicians, the factory, and the HIJAU team were crucial to ensure a smooth installation process and timely completion as agreed.
