Project Overview
PT CJ Feed and Care, a company operating in the livestock feed sector, requires energy solutions that can reduce reliance on PLN electricity and save operational costs at its four main factories. HIJAU has been assigned to design and install rooftop solar power systems in Lampung, Serang, Semarang, and Jombang, with the aim of enhancing energy efficiency, reducing electricity costs, and supporting operational sustainability.
Challenges Faced
Each factory at PT CJ Feed and Care has different characteristics and challenges. The widespread location of the factories requires good coordination between the HIJAU team and local technical teams during the installation process. Additionally, the weather conditions at several locations pose unique challenges in ensuring that the solar power system installation is carried out safely and on time.

HIJAU designs solar power systems tailored to the needs of each factory. These systems utilize high-quality solar panels that can be integrated with the factory's electrical grid, maximizing the use of solar energy during the daytime and reducing reliance on PLN electricity. Results & Benefits
After the installation was completed, the solar power systems at the four PT CJ Feed and Care factories successfully achieved electricity cost savings of up to 30%. The use of solar energy also contributes to a reduction in carbon emissions of 250 tons of CO2 per year. All factories now have a more reliable energy source, reducing the risk of power outages that could disrupt factory operations.
