Project Overview:
Lippo Plaza Mall is one of the shopping centers located in Batu City, East Java. HIJAU will install a 369.7 kWp solar PV system, which is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2025.
Challenges Faced:
The installation process of the solar PV system at Lippo Plaza Mall is being carried out during the rainy season, where weather conditions pose a unique challenge since the installation heavily depends on favorable weather. However, HIJAU remains optimistic about completing this project on time while adhering to the highest safety standards.

HIJAU is assisting Lippo Plaza Mall in realizing its commitment to transitioning to renewable energy, reducing air pollution, and lowering production costs through the installation of solar PV systems on the rooftop of Plaza Mall, Batu, East Java.
Results and Benefits:
Once the solar PV installation projects at all Lippo Mall locations are completed, Plaza Mall Indonesia will be able to generate 1,029,288 kWp annually, equivalent to a reduction of 912 tons of CO2 or planting 24,000 trees each year. This aligns with the company's commitment to transitioning to more environmentally friendly renewable energy.
