HIJAU is currently working on a solar PV installation project at Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati, Jakarta, with a capacity of 458.3 kWp. This is the second project following the successful installation of solar PV at Lippo Mall Cikarang. This collaboration between HIJAU and Lippo Mall aims to adopt more cost-efficient and environmentally friendly renewable energy solutions.
Project Overview
Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati is a shopping mall located in East Jakarta. As a prominent retail center, it requires a substantial and stable electricity supply. After conducting calculations to meet the mall's energy needs, HIJAU initiated the installation of a 458.3 kWp rooftop solar power system. This project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
Challenges Faced
The installation of this project is being carried out during the rainy season, which poses a unique challenge as favorable weather conditions are crucial for the installation process. However, HIJAU remains committed to completing this project on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Before the installation, the HIJAU team conducts thorough assessments and calculations to ensure that the solar PV system will meet the electricity needs of Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati. This transition aims to replace fossil fuel-based electricity with environmentally friendly renewable energy.
Results and Benefits
Once the solar PV installation projects at all Lippo Mall locations are completed, Plaza Mall Indonesia will generate 1,029,288 kWp annually, equivalent to a reduction of 912 tons of CO2. This aligns with the company's commitment to transitioning to more environmentally friendly renewable energy sources.
