HIJAU has a project with PT Wijaya Tri Utama Plywood Industry (WTUPI) for the installation of a 684 kWp rooftop solar power plant. The company is engaged in wood processing and therefore requires stable energy to maintain optimal production quality.
Project Overview
HIJAU will install a 684 kWp rooftop solar power plant at PT Wijaya Tri Utama Plywood Industry (WTUPI) in Banjarmasin. The project is expected to be completed in 2025. In this project, if the rooftop solar power plant is installed, the company will reduce the use of fossil fuels and switch to more environmentally friendly energy.
Challenges Faced
This project presented unique challenges for HIJAU due to the complex roof design. However, HIJAU managed to make several adjustments and introduced innovative solutions for the installation at this factory. By collaborating closely, we ensured the project's success while maintaining a high level of safety, which is a priority for every project we undertake.
Solutions From HIJAU:
Before the installation, the HIJAU team conducted surveys and several assessments to ensure the project could be completed on time. We also assisted the company in realizing its vision of transitioning to more cost-effective and environmentally friendly energy sources.
Results and Benefits
Upon the completion of this project, the company will reduce its reliance on fossil fuel-based electricity and transition to environmentally friendly renewable energy. This will lower operational costs and ensure a stable energy supply, eliminating concerns about power outages and preventing disruptions to the production process.
