Our Management
Victor Samuel
President Director
With over a decade of experience in the photovoltaic or solar industry, Victor has played a pivotal role in advancing Indonesia’s and Vietnam’s solar sectors. As the former Country Sales Manager for Indonesia and Vietnam at REC Solar Pte. Ltd., Singapore, Victor brings a wealth of knowledge to found HIJAU and continues his dedication to Indonesia’s solar industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, and TU Eindhoven, Netherlands. His academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. Victor, now based in Jakarta, is a devoted family man with a wife and three children.
Thio Ariyanto
Head of Projects and Operations
Thio is a renewable energy activist. With more than seven years of experience, Thio is very enthusiastic about the development and progress of renewable energy in Indonesia. Thio’s capabilities and experience include analysis, design, and construction of grid-connected, off-grid, and hybrid solar photovoltaics. Thio completed his undergraduate studies in Engineering Physics at the Bandung Institute of Technology, and continued his postgraduate studies in Sustainable Energy Technology at TU Delft, the Netherlands.
Ismu Fahmi
Head of Business Development
Fahmi has been involved in the renewable energy sector, specifically solar PV sales and engineering, for 2 years. During that time, Fahmi has carried out technical-commercial due diligence and potential development of solar photovoltaic projects with a cumulative capacity of more than 250 MWp. Based on his educational history, Fahmi took an undergraduate program in Engineering Physics at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and several non-degree programs in Japan and Singapore.
Refa Oktoyarda
Head of Sales and Marketing
Refa is an accomplished graduate of Communication Studies from Airlangga University, demonstrating a passion for green energy and a remarkable track record in the solar PV industry. Refa achieved significant milestones by successfully closing numerous solar PV deals in his early career in this industry, earning well-deserved recognition as the Top Solar Ranger at ATW Solar. Within two years, Refa has exhibited a strong commitment to advancing sustainable practices and contributed to the development of solar PV in Indonesia.
Steven Wang
Head of Investment and Commercial
Since completing his undergraduate education in Economics at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Steven has been involved in the photovoltaic industry for 2 years. Steven is currently responsible for investment, commercial, and project financing decisions, with expertise in corporate and project financial analysis, legal, commercial, and risk management.
